Ransomware: Update for Dental Practices

You’ve probably been following the news and you may have come across the headline of 400+ US dentists falling recently prey to Ransomware attacks. Although such news might make you think that an attack on your practice is imminent and that these stunts are mighty and uncontrollable, there are actually concrete steps you can take to protect yourself, your patients’ data, and your practice.

Our frequent CDA Oasis contributor and expert on cybersecurity Anne Genge put together this brief video presentation to provide you with the steps you can take to ensure the safety of your data and the protection of your patient information.

As always, we welcome your comments and feedback. If you have experienced cybersecurity issues or if you have a question about cybersecurity, you can always email or call us at 1-855-716-2747. We will do our best to help.

Until next time!
