Dr. Cheryl Cable Takes her Sabbatical Year with CDA Oasis

We are excited that Dr. Cheryl Cable, Prosthodontist and Associate Professor in the School of Dentistry at the University of Alberta, decided to work with CDA Oasis on her sabbatical leave. Dr. Cable intends to undertake some research related to her specialty field and to work with CDA Oasis to disseminate the results.

CDA Appearance at the Standing Committee on Immigration

On May 31, Dr. Randall Croutze appeared before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration as a witness to speak about the settlement of Syrian refugees, and specifically about the Interim Federal Health Program. Dr. Croutze provided a brief opening statement that focused on an overview of what the program covers, the limitations of the program, feedback from members of the provincial associations who are dealing with the program, and suggestions on how to improve program efficiencies. Last week I bought two new books and I have been enjoying what I see in my initial skimming through them.
