On Tuesday March 28, 2023, the federal government delivered Budget 2023: A Made-in-Canada Plan: Strong Middle Class, Affordable Economy, Healthy Future, which included the announcement of a significant increase in funding for the oral health of Canadians.
In this video, CDA President, Dr. Lynn Tomkins, responds to the government announcement of increased funding of $13.0 billion over five years for a federally funded dental care program, and $4.4 billion ongoing to Health Canada to implement the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
