The Ontario District of the International College of Dentists Meets During the ODA Annual Spring Meeting
The Fellows of the Ontario District of the International College of Dentists (ICD) gathered for a fellowship luncheon during the ODA’s ASM in May. ICD is known for its humanitarian work worldwide and is a leading honorary dental organization dedicated to the recognition of outstanding professional achievement and meritorious service and the continued progress of the profession of dentistry for the benefit of all humankind.
A recent ICD-supported humanitarian mission to El Salvador was featured on Oasis Discussions. Drs. Jack Cottrell and Donna Brode spoke about their involvement in the mission and its positive impact on dentistry. Read the post

Oral-Systemic Health Day Offers Unique Interprofessional Learning Experience Physicians and Dentists Bring Diversity of Views to the Table
More than 200 Manitoba-based dental and non-dental health care providers (HCPs) learned how to screen for oropharyngeal cancer in adults and rampant caries in pediatric patients during Oral-Systemic Health Day, hosted by the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Manitoba on February 7, 2014.

On May 5, the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) sent Canadian dentists a link to a survey asking for impressions of the Canadian dental profession. Unfortunately, the link was not functional and we apologize for the inconvenience.
To complete the survey, please use the link contained in the email dated May 6 or May 12, 2014.
The survey should not take more than 15 minutes to complete and is intended to inform CDA’s efforts in showing trust and value in the dental profession.
The survey is conducted by Ipsos Reid, a professional research company. Your personal information will not be shared and your responses will be handled in confidentiality.
