Dentists and dental team members are often in a unique position to recognize signs of domestic and intimate partner violence. Injuries to the face, head, neck, and mouth may be among the clinical signs that something is wrong—but knowing what to look for, how to ask appropriate questions, and what to do when concerns arise can be challenging.
