U of T Study Contributes to Major Change in U.S. Guidelines for Pneumonia Prevention in ICU

A University of Toronto study examining the effect of oral chlorhexidine de-adoption and the implementation of an oral care bundle on mortality for mechanically ventilated patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) has contributed to a major change in U.S. guidelines for pneumonia patients in the ICU.
