On August 19, 2022, Dr. Lee Darichuk, President of the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta and member of the Alberta Head and Neck Cancer Dental Leadership Team, became the first registered dentist in Canada to administer the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in a dental office.
In this video, Dr. Darichuk explains why he sees HPV vaccination as a potential routine offering in dental practices in the future and provides advice on how to introduce it into your practice.
