Osseous Dysplasia Case Presentation

Dr. Paul Belzycki's Note

This case is about a 35-year-old African female who presented with discomfort in the lower anterior segment where some form of Fibrous Osseous Dysplasia was present. The patient went on to consult with an orthodontist who suggested a treatment plan that included extractions, orthodontics and orthognathic surgery. This presentation explains how this type of dysplasia might impact orthodontics.

Our thanks go to Dr. Tom Shackleton who kindly agreed to discuss the case with Dr. Paul Belzycki.
