Quebec marshalling veterinarians, midwives and others to give COVID-19 vaccines. ctvnews.ca, Dec 7: Students and a variety of Quebec health professionals, such as chiropractors and veterinarians, will be able to help give COVID-19 and flu vaccines, provincial Health Minister Christian Dubé said Friday. They also sent a letter asking the committees to prioritize military dental research, which not only aids wounded soldiers but also civilians who suffer head or facial injury due to trauma, burns or surgery. American Heart Association calls for increased tobacco tax in New York. wkbw.com, Dec 7: The American Heart Association held a virtual tobacco tax rally Monday calling on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to include an increased tobacco tax in the 2021 Executive Budget. The association says it has been 10 years since there was an increase in tobacco taxes in the state. Read more
