World Cavity-Free Future Day with Dr. Bob Schroth
The Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future (ACFF) was formed out of this desire to effect change, by a group of like-minded dental professionals joining forces to raise awareness and combat dental caries through promoting clinical and public health action. Since its formation in 2010, the ACFF has worked to build an international network of dental experts, drawing together representatives from many of the world’s leading dental universities and associations, as well as practitioners, public health professionals.
The Alliance celebrates the World Cavity-Free Future Day (#WCFFD)every year on October 14th to raise awareness about the issue of dental caries and how to prevent them in the hope of raising a cavity-free generation.
I sat down with Dr. Bob Schroth, Co-Chair of the US-Canada Chapter of the Alliance and I asked him about the role of the Alliance as well as the role of Canadian dentists in promoting the World Cavity-Free Future Day.
