Conversation with Dr. Patrick E. Taylor, AAE President

The American Association of Endodontists will hold its 2019 annual meeting in Montreal, April 10 – 13, 2019. The AAE annual meeting continues to be the most comprehensive endodontic education summit, vendor exhibition and networking opportunity in the world! This year the association promises to immerse its guests in the latest research, trends and techniques that can impact dentistry future and which will be presented by some of the most sought-after speakers. The exhibit floor will offer innovative products and services that could lead to new ways of treating patients and improving productivity. And the cherry on cake: it’s all happening in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada in the spring!

To give our viewers/readers more information about the meeting, I sat down with Dr. Patrick E. Taylor, President of the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Taylor is on the affiliate faculty at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. His dental career spans 18 years of private practice in Bellevue, Wash.; and prior to that, 21 years in the military, serving in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, last serving as the executive officer of the Naval Dental Center, Pearl Harbor. Dr. Taylor is a Diplomate and past president of the American Board of Endodontics. He previously served on the AAE Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Taylor also sits on the Foundation for Endodontics Board of Trustees.
