      Because he was told or he knew normally these teeth should have been shed at the early ages.Now, he is preoccupied with that and complain of aching in that area.

      If the aching he feels is constant, any initiating factor, what intensifies aching, the status of his illness, so on.

      I would assume he may feel a surface texture difference between the resinrestoration and his real tooth surface. Possible food impaction or mobility due to the short roots.
      I would start to gather more information. Take a PA , possibly a PAN, and take photographs of the tooth aswell. Do vitality testing on the adjacent tooth to establish base line and then the tooth 85. Update changes in medication/physical status. Ask for what “non-prescription” are being taken, if any.
      Take time to discuss with colleges with the info gathered. Then bring patient back for consult discussion and present multiple treatment options, including no treatment as an option.
