Emergency Referral Service in the College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba

One effect of the Covid-19 pandemic has been to bring out the best in dental teams across Canada. With the need for safe emergency care across the community, initiatives have been implemented from coast to coast.

One such initiative is the Emergency Referral Service, developed by The College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba.

In this conversation, Dr. John O’Keefe, Director of Knowledge Networks CDA, talks to Dr. Trenna Reeve, Dr. Julie Pfeffer and Dr. Rene Chu, who have all been at the front line in providing this much-needed service to the Province of Manitoba.

So how did they go about setting it up, and how does it work? And what are the big takeaways that can carried forward into the future?

We hope you find the conversation useful. We welcome your thoughts, questions and/or suggestions about this post and other topics. Leave a comment in the box below or send us your feedback by email.
