CDA Conversations: Dr. Tina Meisami on Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation

Dr. Tina Meisami, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and founder of the Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation, spoke with Dr. Suham Alexander about the Foundation’s Project Restoring Smiles.

Dr. Meisami obtained both her Bachelor’s of Science in 1992 and Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1996 with Honours from the University of Toronto. She completed her surgical training at the University of Toronto in 2001 and subsequently completed a fellowship in Orthognathic Surgery for correction of Dentofacial Deformities at University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Meisami has been the recipient of several awards in recognition for her academic excellence and clinical skills.

Dr. Meisami is an associate in dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, where she is currently also the Course Director for the Hospital Dental Residency programs, and the Director of Dental Sleep Medicine.
