Dr. Ian McConnachie is a pediatric dentist who has practiced in Ottawa for 37 years as well as providing hospital- based care for over 34 years as a staff member at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He continues to be involved in organized dentistry serving on committees at the local, provincial and national level. He is a past-president of the Ontario Dental Association.

Dr. McConnachie has published and lectured nationally and internationally, with particular focus on pediatric clinical care, caries risk management and access to care. He has also gotten involved in international volunteering in dental care in Central America and the Caribbean. Dr. McConnachie is a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentistry and the Academy of Dentistry International.
