CDA is pleased to announce the official launch of JCDA Oasis during the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Dental Association on Friday April 19th, 2013. The launch kick starts a new era for the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association, which is now composed of three main elements:

jcda.ca: the CDA flagship peer-reviewed publication which offers online open access to clinical scientific information as well as news in research, clinical dentistry, and various issues related to the dental profession (www.jcda.ca & www.jcdaf.ca)
|
|
|
|
|
Oasis Help: online clinical decision support system designed to help dentists and dental team members with clinical decisions. The searchable database will include clinical information about: (www.oasishelp.ca)
- Medical conditions that have an impact on dental treatment
- Prescription drugs that have an impact on dental treatment
- Dental and medical emergencies that most often occur in the dental practice

Oasis Discussions: an online gathering place to discuss challenging clinical cases and an innovative and exciting approach to showcase clinical content. The website offers an experimental environment to seek and present clinical information (www.oasisdiscussions.ca)
