Access to basic oral health resources and education remains a challenge for many underserved communities. But sometimes, meaningful change begins with a simple idea and the determination of a few people to make a difference.
In this episode of CDA Oasis, twin sisters and aspiring dentists Ashley and Breanna Bolliger share their story as founders of The Healthy Smiles Club. What began as a grassroots effort to address gaps in oral health access in Hamilton has grown into an Ontario-wide organization with university chapters, hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of oral health supplies distributed to communities in need.
