Since their introduction in 2023, nicotine pouches have gained popularity across Canada, with young adults aged 18 to 34 emerging as the fastest-growing user group.

In this CDA Oasis discussion, Dr. Deborah Saunders, Medical Director of the Department of Dental Oncology at the Northeast Cancer Centre in Sudbury, discusses the impact of nicotine pouches on oral health and offers advice to dentists on how to manage patients who use them.
