Fundamentals of Tobacco Interventions for Dental Professionals – Course Registration Now Open!

When it comes to tobacco interventions, oral health professionals play a key role in screening, assessing, and treating patients with tobacco dependence.

In this CDA Oasis discussion, Dr. Deborah Saunders, Medical Director of the Dental Oncology Department at the Northeast Cancer Centre’s Clinical Tobacco Intervention Program, discusses the role dental professionals can play in tobacco cessation and introduces an upcoming TEACH CAMH course on tobacco interventions for dental professionals.

Fundamentals of Tobacco Interventions for Dental Professionals is a 4-hour online course running from November 12 to December 10, 2025. Course content will be accessible for four weeks and can be completed at any time during this period.

Participants will receive 4 Category 1 continuing education credits upon completion of the course.
