The Non-Insured Health Benefits Program: A Dentist’s Perspective

The Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program provides registered First Nations and recognized Inuit peoples with coverage for a range of health benefits otherwise not covered through provincial or territorial health insurance, private insurance plans or other publicly funded programs.

In this CDA Oasis discussion, Dr. Scott Leckie, a general dentist from Winnipeg and member of the CDA NIHB program subcommittee, discusses his experience with the NIHB program and highlights how it has enhanced the oral health and lives of his patients.
