November 18-24 is World AMR Awareness Week 2023 — a global campaign to raise awareness and understanding of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and promote best practices to reduce the emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections.
In this video, Dr. Susan Sutherland, former Chief of Dentistry at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and founding president of the Canadian Association of Hospital Dentists, discusses the ongoing development of a Canadian dental antimicrobial stewardship strategy and highlights what dentists can do this week to help raise awareness of AMR.
