Dr. Scott Gray-Owen, a Professor at the Department of Molecular Genetics, University of Toronto, leads a team of scientists who have been testing an anti-microbial coating that can deactivate more than 99% of SARS-CoV-2 on the outer surface of medical masks. The product is developed by I3 Biomedical, a Canadian company headquartered in Mirabel, QC.
