Meet Dr. David Stevenson, President of the Ontario Dental Association

I had the privilege of sitting down with Dr. David Stevenson, current President of the Ontario Dental Association as he is approaching the end of his term. Originally from Toronto, Dr. Stevenson chose the charms of a small community for him and his wife, who is also a dentist, to settle down in Carleton Place, ON. After graduating from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1986, Dr. Stevenson’s dental career began as a Captain with the Royal Canadian Dental Corps. He served four years overseas attached to the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry stationed at Canadian Air Force Base Baden-Sölingen, in what was then known as West Germany. Dr. Stevenson has served on numerous ODA committees and task forces, including chairing the Economics Committee. He currently sits on the Governance and Nominating Committee. Dr. Stevenson is also a Political Contact Dentist. In 2011, his contributions were recognized with the ODA’s Service Award.

I hope this exchange allows to know Dr. Stevenson a little bit better and I do hope you enjoy the conversation. Please share your thoughts, questions, and suggestion through our email or phone at 1-855-716-2747.

Until next time!
