You might want to check in with very recent developments with NIHB and orthodontic treatment. I have been advocating for a patient of mine who ultimately took the federal government to court over this issue. We have just learned that the feds settled (having spent $250,000 fighting in the first place) and that a panel of orthodontists (I haven’t been invited, interestingly enough) is rebuilding the treatment criteria from scratch. I am very happy to have played a role in this fight.
