ASM 2018: Geriatric Dentistry: Improve Your Clinical Confidence!

As the Ontario Dental Association‘s Annual Spring Meeting approaches, we at CDA Oasis are pleased to bring you highlights of some of the speakers and the sessions that will be offered this year. It is my hope that you learn from the various conversations; and if you happen to be in Toronto, you find it interesting enough to attend the event. 

Dr. Joel Laudenbach is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine, practises oral medicine and provides educational courses and workshops nationally and internationally. He is appointed on the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and to the
Dental Advisory Council of the International Pemphigus & Pemphigoid Foundation. Dr. Laudenbach is a Medscape.com writer, published author and guest editor for the Journal of
the California Dental Association.

ASM2018 is the single largest venue where the dental team members can earn continuing education credits all under one roof. The meeting offers a broad and diverse range of renowned speakers and topics for dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and office staff. Highlights

This interactive lecture will address oral health and medical issues unique to the geriatric population. Multiple aspects of geriatric medicine and geriatric dentistry will be presented in the context of clinical care. Lecture material will cover a broad range of introductory topics relevant to clinical dentistry for older adults, including: comprehensive geriatric assessment, medical risk assessment, dental management strategies, oral pathology and orofacial pain disorders.
