This post was prepared in collaboration with Garrison Dental
On an experimental basis, we have asked a limited number of companies to provide us with practical “How To” answers to clinical questions. We were prompted to conduct this experiment when dental team members told us that they visit company websites and consult company representatives for practical clinical information. We look forward to receiving your feedback on this experiment.
Garrison Dental Solutions’ FitStripTM (“Flexible Inteproximal finishers with a Twist”) are a complete line of finishers and trimmers. The Garrison FitStripTM system makes interproximal reduction easier and more predictable. The removable handle allows clinicians to work from outside the patient’s mouth increasing the field of view for the dentist. The twist of the wheel allows the dentist to adjust the strip, tightening or loosening the strip as needed. This results in interproximal contouring and finishing with minimal time, effort and fatigue. When tightening the adjustment wheel, the strip becomes rigid for tooth contact areas. When loosened, the strip curves allowing for finishing and contouring.
