Change for the Better: Using Tea Holders

Dr. John O’Keefe visited GumDocs in Ottawa to speak with Ms. Sherry Beckstead the Infection Control Coordinator about an innovative way to sterilize implant pieces. 

Highlights

Sherry changed the way in which she worked by buying “tea baskets”. Tea baskets help to keep implant or other small components together in the ultrasonic and washers. In this way, drills and other parts do not go missing. This saves cost, time and effort and reduces stress for the doctors and team.
