Join a Free Live Webinar on Managing Patients with Enamel Defects
Topic Presentation
When I was in full-time general practice, children represented a sizeable proportion of my patient base. One of the most challenging types of cases for me was the patient who presented with significant enamel defects on permanent first molar teeth, very much like the teeth in the images below.
I will wager that many of you are regularly presented with cases such as these and you may wonder (depending on the nature and severity of the case), if you should watch and wait, place fissure sealants, restore the defects (intra- or extra-coronally), or extract the affected tooth or teeth.
Free Live CDA Oasis Case Conference
If the dilemmas associated with managing the patient presenting this type of case resonate with you, we have just the live Oasis Case Conference for you on Thursday September 29 at 3:30 pm Eastern (12:30 pm Pacific). That day, Dr. Nancy Vertel, a pediatric dentist in Maple Ridge, BC will discuss the latest thinking about the management of patients with enamel defects. She will be joined in this clinical conversation by a colleague from the discipline of orthodontics, Dr. Melanie Mattson.
Up to 100 dentists can join the live Case Conference as “View-Only” participants on a first-come-first-served basis. At the appointed time, all you have to do is click the link below and follow a few easy steps. Once you join the conference, you will be able to see and hear the specialists converse and you will be able to view the slide shows of clinical cases that Dr. Vertel and colleagues display. You will not be seen or heard, but you will be able to type in questions and comments throughout the presentation.
The live Case Conference will be recorded for general dissemination on Oasis at a later date and summary information will be shared with Oasis Discussion’s general audience. There is an advantage to join the live webinar and that is your ability to pose your questions to the specialists and get instant answers, just as you would in a study club setting.
