CADTH: Health Technology Assessment of Non-surgical Treatments for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
CADTH is planning a health technology assessment of non-surgical treatments for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). It will include patient experiences and preferences regarding various types of oral devices. We are inviting patients, caregivers and patient organizations to comment on CADTH’s plan for the project. Our goal is that the results of the project, and any recommendations that arise from it, will better reflect the experiences and preferences of patients by consulting with them in the early stages of the project.
We would appreciate your help in connecting us with a person living with Obstructive Sleep Apnea who would be willing to give his or her opinion about their experiences with an oral appliance, such as a tongue reposition device or mandibular reposition device.
Participation involves a brief telephone conversation to see whether the plan reflects issues that are important to patients and their families. If you are interested in participating, please email Ms. Tamara Rader.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
