Dr. David Kenny, Pediatric dentist and graduate of the Schulich School of Dentistry and Medicine at Western University, spoke with Ms. Chiraz Guessaier, CDA Oasis Manager, about the book he is about to write on the history of dentistry at Western University.

Dr. Kenny is a cum laude dental graduate of The University of Western Ontario (DDS’70). He completed his diploma in pediatric dentistry and PhD in neurophysiology at the University of Toronto and joined the Hospital for Sick Children as staff Pediatric Dentist in 1973. He was Chief of Dentistry at The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa from 1977 to 1981. Between 1981 and 1997, he was Dentist-in-Chief at the Hospital for Sick Children and Senior Associate Scientist, Research Institute until 2010. He continues as Professor of Dentistry, University of Toronto and Honorary Consultant, SickKids.
