Dr. Natalie Wong speaks about CBCT and implant placement

Dr. Wong EditedDr. Natalie Wong spoke with Dr. Suham Alexander about CBCT and implant placement.

Dr. Wong is the founder of the Toronto Implant Institute and President of the Association of Prosthodontists of Ontario.

Highlights

1. For prosthetically-driven treatment plans involving implant placement, CBCT is an invaluable tool.

2. Anatomical variations or anatomically challenging situations may be easily identified and accommodated for prior to treatment planning and implant placements with the use of a CBCT.

3. The minimal amount of radiation exposure is outweighed by the overall benefits of the use of CBCT in providing a more predictable and consistent prosthetically-driven result.
