One of the major missing components to help define guidelines by our medical colleagues is the relative absence of dental reporting. Unlike our medical colleagues, most dentists note the adverse reaction, put it in the patients chart and tend not to report to either the patients physician nor to the regulatory authority. Given the huge demographic increase in older females on these types of therapies the ODQ has elected to put in place an ongoing survey mechanism so we can collect real time data and be able to have evidence based discussions with our colleagues in pharmacy and médecine .
