CE Showcase ASM2017: Diagnosis and Management of Orofacial Pain

Dr. Howard Tenenbaum spoke with Dr. Suham Alexander about his lecture at #ASM150 titled: Diagnosis and Management of Orofacial Pain.

Highlights

Dr. Tenenbaum will address methods relating to taking a proper history for patients with facial pain. This will also include diagnostic and treatment methods and will be followed by case reports that exemplify the issues touched on in regard to history and diagnosis.

  • To learn how to take a proper history for patients with pain
  • To learn how to examine and treat patients with chronic facial pain
  • To understand the complexity of chronic facial pain

Dr. Tenebaum’s lecture runs on May 6 at 8:30 – 11:00 am.

 

Howard Tenenbaum, DDS, Dip Perio, PhD, FRCD(C)

Dr. Howard Tenenbaum received his DDS from the University of Toronto in 1978 and his specialty in periodontology and a PhD by 1982. A two-year postdoctoral MRC fellowship in Bethesda at the National Institutes of Health followed. He is currently a Professor of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, and is now dentist-in-chief at Sinai Health System.
