CDA Oasis is delighted to present the 2025-26 CDA Honours and Awards Program recipients. Each year the CDA Awards recognize individuals across the country who have demonstrated unwavering passion and support for the dental profession in Canada and exhibited consistent commitment to the oral health of Canadians.
This year’s awards were presented at a dedicated awards luncheon on Friday, April 24, in Toronto.

CDA Medal of Honour
The CDA Medal of Honour is CDA’s highest distinction, given in recognition of a lifetime of exceptional professional achievement and service that has led to meaningful and lasting contributions to dentistry.
CDA Distinguished Service Award
The CDA Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the dental profession, the dental community, or the oral health of Canadians, either through a significant achievement in a given year or through exceptional service over many years.
CDA Award of Merit
The CDA Award of Merit recognizes individuals who have provided outstanding service to the Canadian Dental Association, the dental profession, the dental community, or the oral health of Canadians.
CDA Mentorship Advancement Award
The Mentorship Advancement Award recognizes an individual or dentist-led group who, through sustained volunteer leadership, has strengthened the dental profession by fostering mentorship, collaboration, and shared learning among Canadian dentists.
CDA Oral Health Promotion Award
The Oral Health Promotion Award recognizes an individual or organization that has made a significant contribution to improving the oral health of Canadians through oral health promotion. This may include advancing public health policy, strengthening community action, creating supportive environments, developing personal skills, or increasing the prevention of oral disease.
