The Role of the Dental Profession in Managing the Current Measles Outbreak in Canada

Canada is currently experiencing a measles outbreak, with cases reported in multiple jurisdictions. The outbreak, which began in October 2024, is the worst since Canada was certified as having eliminated the disease in 1998.

In this CDA Oasis discussion, Dr. Marina Salvadori, Senior Medical Advisor with the Public Health Agency of Canada, discusses the role dentists can play in managing the outbreak and offers advice on what to do if you suspect a case in your office.
