When it comes to nurturing a positive patient experience in the dental office, compassion and mindfulness can be critical in building trust with patients, reducing anxiety, and ultimately delivering better oral health outcomes.

In this CDA Oasis discussion, Dr. Kristin Yont, a general dentist from Calgary and a Benson-Henry Institute SMART certified health care provider, discusses why mindfulness and compassion are such important aspects of being a dentist, and shares her insights on how to incorporate them into your practice.
