Use of Silver Diamine Fluoride in Arresting Caries – Part 1

Since it was approved by Health Canada in 2017, silver diamine fluoride (SDF) has been used in Canada to arrest caries and help keep teeth healthy in a minimally invasive way.

In this CDA Oasis presentation, Dr. Sanjukta Mohanta, a general dentist from Brampton, ON, outlines the advantages and disadvantages of SDF. She also highlights the indications for its use and demonstrates how to apply SDF.
