The CDA Oasis series on managing medically compromised patients in the dental office continues with a presentation by Dr. Sanjukta Mohanta and Dr. Ramez Salti on managing patients who are taking bisphosphonates and other medications that increase the risk of osteonecrosis.
Dr. Mohanta and Dr. Salti’s recent article Can I Extract a Tooth if My Patient is Taking a Bisphosphonate? is now published in The Ontario Dentist Journal.
Dr. Ramez Salti is a general dentist from southern Ontario with a focus on oral surgery, implants, and intravenous sedation.
