Introducing ONCOllab: a new oral care guide for cancer care teams
FDI World Dental Federation (FDI), in collaboration with the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO) and with the support of Zendium, has developed a mobile application called ONCOllab: The Oral Care Guide for Cancer Care Teams. The application is aimed at helping health professionals in the cancer care team to manage oral complications that may arise due to cancer therapy.
In this video, Dr Deborah Saunders, Medical Director of dental oncology at the Northeast Cancer Center in Sudbury, Ontario, highlights the impact cancer therapies can have on dental patients and demonstrates some of the key features of this valuable learning and practice-support tool.
