September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, a day that honours the Survivors of residential schools and the children that never came home.
In this video, Dr. Lynn Tomkins, president of the Canadian Dental Association, encourages dentists and other members of the oral health community across Canada to reflect on the tragic and painful legacy of residential schools and to seek out opportunities to advance reconciliation in our communities and across the country.
