The Schulich Executive Education Centre at York University has pioneered a concise mini-MBA for dentists that provides current, robust business competencies that are directly applicable to the running of a dental practice.
The only program of its kind in Canada, the Schulich Mini-MBA: Dentist Business Leadership Program is designed for dentists who are focused on enhancing their business management skills to drive growth and profitability in their practice.
In this video, Program Director Dr. Michael Glogauer explains why it is important for dentists to develop a competency in business administration and shares feedback on how the program has gone so far. He also highlights the key disciplines covered by the course and outlines the time commitment involved.
BURSARIES FOR CANADIAN DENTISTS
The Schulich Executive Education Centre has also announced two bursaries available to dentists in Canada, valued at $6,000 each. Interested individuals should contact Robert Lynn, Associate Director, at rlynn@schulich.yorku.ca and submit a bursary application before Friday April 15 at 5 p.m. EST.
