CDA adjusts position on antibiotic prophylaxis to prevent infective endocarditis

Recently the AHA published “Corrections” to the 2007 guidelines that clarified the language in the guideline. In particular, a change was made to the wording of the list of cardiac conditions associated with the highest risk of adverse outcome from endocarditis for which antibiotic prophlylaxis with dental procedures is reasonable.
