Dr. Nada Haidar grew up in Dartmouth. Her family moved to Halifax when she began her education at Dalhousie University. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and was accepted into Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. She is a proud alumnus of Dalhousie University. Her connection to the Dalhousie Faculty of Dentistry continues as she is part-time clinical instructor.

Taking care of smiles and keeping her patients healthy is something Dr. Haidar takes very seriously. She gives generously of her time to many volunteer organizations and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Nova Scotia Dental Association, Advanced member in the International Association of Orthodontics, and has made television appearances to discuss important topics in dentistry. Dr. Haidar is currently the President of the Nova Scotia Dental Association.

When she is not practicing in her busy clinic she spends all of her time with family. She can often be spotted at Martock skiing or golfing at one of many of Nova Scotia’s beautiful courses with her husband and two children.
