SHINE (Student Health Initiative for the Needs of Edmonton) Dental Clinic is a student run organization established through the University of Alberta and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. The organization provides dental care for youth in need at no cost to our patients and is entirely supported by our annual golf tournament fundraiser and volunteers from the dental community of Edmonton.  Navi Bharj, the podcast presenter meets with two students, Travis McLean and Andrew Hoang, who contribute to SHINE and see its advantage, first hand, in providing access to oral care.
