CDA DAYS ON THE HILL WITH DR. MITCH TAILLON

Days on the Hill are CDA’s annual 2-day session of meetings with federal party leaders, cabinet ministers, MPs and senior government officials in Ottawa.   J’ai eu le plaisir de discuter avec le Dr Mitch Taillon, nouveau président de l’ADC pour 2018-2019. Le Dr Taillon est dentiste généraliste à Assiniboia, en Saskatchewan. CDA @ Work: CDA Submission to the Consultation on Tax Planning Using Private Corporations

On October 2nd, the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) submitted its brief to the Hon. Bill Morneau, Minister of Finance, as part of the consultation on Tax Planning Using Private Corporations. In the submission, the CDA emphasized that the tax policies that are addressed in the government’s consultation are not “loopholes”, but long-standing tax measures that recognize the risk small business owners take, and their contribution to Canada’s economic and social well-being. Dr. Larry Levin on CDA’s Days on Hill

Each year, a CDA delegation led by the CDA President, participates in the CDA Days on the Hill event. This year was no different. Dr. Larry Levin: A Life in Leadership Unfolds

Meeting with Dr. Larry Levin, new CDA President, was a high point during my recent visit to the #ASM150 convention. I met with a great community and professional leader, whose coincidental entry into dentistry was for sure a good happenstance for the profession. Dr. Randall Croutze on the CDA Days on the Hill

Dr. Randall Croutze, newly elected CDA President, gave a brief summary of the CDA delegation activities with the federal government and a number of members of parliament. Highlights Dentists from across Canada had the opportunity to exchange ideas and information with the government and members of the parliament.
