Focusing on the perspective of the General Dentist, she highlights the importance of dental hygiene, routine care in the community, and the importance of teamwork and communication. She also stresses that very little additional training is required by General Dentists in order for them to provide care for patients with facial differences.
“Not every dentist was willing to treat me as a patient because they were afraid that they needed additional training. The reality is they don’t.”
