Changes in the Teaching of Restorative Dentistry
The teaching of restorative dentistry at the University of Toronto is undergoing something of an overhaul. And given most dentists will perform restorations for most of their career, it is an opportunity not only for students, but for everybody to learn and think about new ways of doing things.

Dr. Anuradha Prakki, Educator in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Toronto, explains to Dr. John O’Keefe, Director of Knowledge Networks CDA, that the program overhaul is not just about reviewing techniques, but the establishment of a mindset. A way of thinking about the discipline.
Dr. Prakki also addresses the challenges and benefits of remote learning, and outlines the opportunities for both educators and students.
