Cyber Security Series Part Three: CDA Tools and Services to Support Your Practice

Are you and your staff sharing a username and password? This could be a cyber security risk for your practice.

In this third and final instalment in our cyber security series we’re sharing our conversation with CDA’s Associate Director of Practice Support, Geoff Valentine, who discusses where to begin when tackling this every-changing and massive topic, and what the resources and services CDA uses to support dentists in protecting themselves, their patients, and their office from cyber breaches.

Key Discussion Topics:

  • Cyber security policies and procedures for your staff that protect your practice against internal breaches.
  • How CDA secures and authenticates e-claims from dental offices using unique, CDA Digital IDs.
  • Why it’s important to create individual logins for staff to safely and securely use the CDA Practice Support Website.
  • How to balance convenience with security when selecting cyber security practices.
  • Using CDA Secure Send instead of email to send files, share information securely, and make referrals.
  • Resources and tools for enhancing your cyber security systems and practices.

I think getting all of these services installed on my system would be the best thing I can do to make sure I am safe from any liability. I would like to read a review of it first.
