Dr. Preety Desai Discusses Peri-implantitis and her Upcoming Pacific Dental Conference Talk
The Pacific Dental Conference is just around the corner and selected conference speakers like Periodontist Dr. Preety Desai are busy preparing their talks. Today, Dr. Desai sat down with us to provide an overview of her upcoming talk about dental implants, their popularity, and most importantly identifying and managing peri-implantitis. Dr. Preety Desai has been a practicing periodontist in Kamloops, BC since 1996. Dr. Desai attended the University of Toronto and received her dental degree from McGill University. She spent a year as an dental resident at the Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children as well as the Hugh McMillan Medical Centre and Bloorview Children’s Hospital. After three years of general practice in Toronto and in Northern Ontario, she chose to specialize in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia and completed her training in 1995.
