The Dental Association of PEI Welcomes You to the CDA’s 2018 Convention

It promises to be the event of the summer! The Dental Association of PEI is holding its joint convention with the Canadian Dental Association in Charlottetown August 22nd to 25th, 2018. A great scientific as well as social  program awaits PEI guests along with a sizeable number of exhibitors who are showing their latest and brightest products and technologies.

In this conversation, I welcomed Dr. Mike Connolly, Dr. Richard Holden, and Dr. Brian Barrett. Dr. Connolly is Chair of the exhibitors and Sponsors committee. Dr. Richard Holden is CDA Board member and Chair of the Continuing Education Committee. And, Dr. Brian Barrett is Executive Director of the PEI Dental Association as well as the Chair of the Convention.

I hope you get a chance to attend the convention this summer and enjoy a memorable time in Charlottetown with your family, friends, and colleagues. Don’t forget to share your thoughts and memories with us 🙂 at oasisdiscussions@cda-adc.ca

Until next time!

Message from the Organizing Committees

Welcome to the CDA and Dental Association of PEI 2018 Convention. We hope you will be able to join us for an exceptional convention!

Take the bridge to better dentistry and be part of an historical event! This will be the first time Prince Edward Island has hosted the CDA Convention, and this will be a gathering you will not want to miss.  August 22 to 25, 2018 is a wonderful time to visit Canada’s Garden Province!

Come visit the Birthplace of Canada and enjoy renowned speakers and engaging social programs. Choose from a selection of 25 courses and browse 100 exhibitors in the ultra-modern PEI Convention Centre, which adjoins the Delta Hotel on the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront. There will be courses of interest for the entire dental team.

While on our Island we encourage you to take some time to enjoy the many cultural and culinary experiences; such as live theatre, an Island kitchen party, and a fresh seafood dinner; lobster, mussels, oysters, or scallops. The Province boasts beautiful beaches, fishing harbours, and lighthouses- a scenic vista at every bend in road.  Play a round at one of our many championship golf courses, or stroll a secluded white sand beach.  Tour the Island from tip to tip, go down some red clay roads, visit local artisans, and stop at roadside stands for seasonal fruits and vegetables. We are confident that our warm hospitality will provide lasting memories of Canada’s Gentle Island and CDA Convention 2018.
